Paving Bid Notice.
Sealed bid proposals will be received by East Buffalo Township, Union County, PA, at 589 Fairground Road, Lewisburg PA 17837, until 1:00 PM, on Wednesday, April 8, 2026; to be opened on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 1:15 PM; and awarded on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 5:30 PM at the East Buffalo Township Municipal Building for the following:
Paving Project:
Furnish and place approximately 328 Tons of Flexible Base Replacement with 25MM Base Course, 3,603 Tons of Superpave Asphalt 19MM Binder, 37 Tons of Paved Tie-Ins with 9.5MM Wearing Course, 4,029 Tons Asphalt 9.5 MM Wearing Course, 5,822 SY Asphalt Milling 2 ¼” Depth, 206 SY Variable Depth Asphalt Milling, (4) Each ADA Ramp With Truncated Domes Includes Design and Construction, and 210 LF Rolled Curb Using Wearing Course.
A bituminous Escalator Clause is included in this contract. PA Prevailing Wage Rates are included with this project. Bid must be accompanied by three (3) references, a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of contract. A certified check or performance bond in the amount of 100% of contract, made payable to the Municipality will be required from lowest responsible bidder for contract.
All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
