Schedule

Mondays 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Second Saturday of each month 8 AM to 12 PM.

When a holiday is observed on a Monday, the Recycling Center will be open on Tuesday.

Weather conditions may unexpectedly prevent opening of the Drop-Off Center.

COVID – Collection Guidance

TRAFFIC
Traffic is One Way, entering the parking lot through the south ingress and exiting through the north egress.

MASKS
Masks are required while accessing the recycling center.

SOCIAL DISTANCING
Practice safe social distancing. Anticipate on-site changes:

  • Limiting the number of people accessing the site at a given time. This may require people to remain in their cars until directed.
  • Controlling directional movements while accessing the recycling center.

COVID19 (Coronavirus) POSITIVE
If anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19 (Coronavirus), DO NOT RECYCLE. Please deposit your materials with other generated trash to be collected by your private refuse hauler.

SPACE IS LIMITED – PLEASE MAKE ROOM
We anticipate high volumes of recyclables. In order to provide as much space as possible in the bins:

  • Flatten all boxes and cartons
  • Crush all plastic bottles

Under no circumstances should recyclable materials be left at the recycling center when the site is unattended by Township personnel.

ALUMINUM CANS

Rinse and leave labels on.
NOT ACCEPTED: Chemical cans; Foil; Paint cans; Pie plates; Spray cans.

BI-METAL CANS

Rinse and leave labels on
NOT ACCEPTED: Chemical cans; Paint cans; Spray cans.

CORRUGATED CARDBOARD

Broken down / flattened. Clean and dry.
NOT ACCEPTED: Packaging materials (plastic strapping, Styrofoam); Wax coated boxes.

CHIPBOARD & PAPERBOARD

All must broken down / flattened. Cartons must be rinsed.
ACCEPTED: Cereal boxes; Dry food boxes; Paper towel rolls; Soda cases; Cartons (juice, milk, soup, broth, wine, soy milk, etc.)
NOT ACCEPTED: Any if the above with plastic or foil liners.

GLASS

Remove caps, lids, tops. Rinse and leave labels on. Separate by color. Blue glass may be recycled with green glass.
NOT ACCEPTED: Broken Glass; Candle jars; Ceramic materials; Drinking glasses; Earthen ware; Fiberglass; Light bulbs; Mirrors; Plate glass; Pottery; Pyrex/cookware; Vases; Window glass.

OFFICE PAPER

May be whole or shredded. If shredded, the material must be bagged in a CLEAR plastic bag
ACCEPTED: White or colored office paper; Computer printer paper (>1995); School / institutional worksheets; Tablet paper; Junk mail (envelopes, flyers, glossy ads).
NOT ACCEPTED: Lunch room waste (paper cups, napkins, plates, food wrappers); Catalogs or Phone Books; Carbon Paper; File Folders or File Hangers; Paper that contains a wax coating or crayon.

PLASTIC

Rinse and flatten. Leave labels on. Separated by type of plastic.
ACCEPTED: #1 single serve (8 oz. – 20 oz.), 2 liter and soda bottles and other food containers that have a neck; and #2 single serve (8 oz. – 20 oz.), milk or juice containers, detergent bottles.
NOT ACCEPTED: Butter, cottage cheese or other bowls; Oil or anti-freeze containers; Plastic toys.
