PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Notice  is hereby given to the citizens and residents of East Buffalo Township, Union County, Pennsylvania, that the Supervisors of East Buffalo Township, Union County, Pennsylvania will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 5:30 PM at the East Buffalo Township Municipal Building, 589 Fairground Road, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania17837, to consider the adoption of an ordinance to amending Chapter 22 of the Code of Ordinances of East Buffalo Township regarding inspections for streets and related stormwater facilities and, amending Chapter 27, Part 2 and 4 of the Code of Ordinances of East Buffalo Township regarding adding Churches as a Permitted Use in the General Commercial Zoning District and to provide a definition for Churches within East Buffalo Township, Union County, Pennsylvania. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available during normal business hours at the East Buffalo Township Municipal Building, 589 Fairground Road, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, 17837 and at the office of Peter L. Matson, Esquire, Solicitor for East Buffalo Township, 222 Market Street, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

As appropriate under applicable Second Class Township Code articles and other state laws, the Board of Supervisors appoint elected officials, appointed officials and Township residents to represent the Township on the Authorities, Boards, Commissions and Committees.
