Notice  is herby given to the citizens and residents of East Buffalo Township, Union County, Pennsylvania, that the Supervisors of East Buffalo Township, Union County, Pennsylvania will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 5:30 PM at the East Buffalo Township Municipal Building, 589 Fairground Road, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania17837, to consider the adoption of an ordinance to amend Chapter 27 of the Code of Ordinances of East Buffalo Township to provide zoning regulations regarding cryptocurrency and date mining operation within East Buffalo Township, Union County, Pennsylvania. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available during normal business hours at the East Buffalo Township Municipal Building, 589 Fairground Road, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, 17837 and at the office of Peter L. Matson, Esquire, Solicitor for East Buffalo Township, 222 Market Street, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

Bid Notice – Fuel Bid

Sealed proposals will be received by East Buffalo Township Supervisors, 589 Fairground Road, Lewisburg, Union County, PA 17837 until 1 PM, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, for the following:

1,000 gallons +/- 87 ethanol free gasoline, delivered to 589 Fairground Road as needed from January 1, 2026, thru December 2026.

10,000 gallons +/- of ULSD-B2, diesel fuel, delivered to 589 Fairground Road as needed from January 1, 2026, thru December 31, 2026.

All quantities are more or less. “Fuel Bid” shall be clearly marked in the lower left-hand corner of the sealed envelope. Bids will be opened and tabulated at approximately 1:15 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Bids to be awarded during the regularly scheduled Supervisor’s meeting on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the East Buffalo Township Office, 589 Fairground Road, Lewisburg, Union County, PA. 17837. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Crush Aggregate:

250 Tons AASHTO #57 (2-B Stone), Washed, FOB;

250 Tons AASHTO #57 (2-B Stone), Washed, Delivered;

1,000 Tons 2-A PADOT Certified, FOB;

1,000 Tons 2-A PADOT Certified, Delivered;

1,000 Tons AS2, Anti-Skid Material, Delivered;

1,000 Tons AS2, Anti-Skid Material, FOB.

Asphalt Material:

250 Tons 25mm Mix; PG64-22, FOB;

250 Tons 19mm Mix; PG64-22, FOB;

500 Tons 9.5mm Mix; PG64-22, ≤ 0-.3 ESAL, SRL-L, FOB;

500 Tons 9.5mm Mix; PG64-22, ≤ 0-.3 ESAL, SRL-M, FOB;

150 Tons Cold Patch (UPM Type), FOB.

All material must conform to PennDOT specifications. All quantities are more or less, as needed January 1 through December 31, 2026. Bids must be submitted on PennDOT form MS-963, available at the Township address noted below or at www.ebtwp.org.

Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of 10% of the total bid amount payable to “East Buffalo Township”. “Stone Bid” shall be clearly marked in the lower left-hand corner of the sealed envelope. Bids will be opened and tabulated at approximately 1:15 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Bids to be awarded during the regularly scheduled Supervisors meeting on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the East Buffalo Township Office, 589 Fairground Road, Lewisburg, Union County, PA 17837. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
