The seven (7) members of the Planning Commission serve four (4) year staggered terms. The Commission develops and recommends Zoning Ordinance, an official map, and Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance to the Board of Supervisors for adoption. The Commission also reviews and recommends approval/denial of subdivision and land development applications to the Board of Supervisors.

Regular meetings of the Planning Commission are held at the East Buffalo Township Municipal Building, 589 Fairground Road, Lewisburg, PA, Union County.
